How does it detect duplicates?
It uses the Financial Institution Transaction ID (FITID) when available in OFX/QFX files. For QIF files, it creates a unique composite key based on the date, amount, and payee.

Yes. The exported CSV and Excel formats are standard tabular formats that can be easily imported into Quickbooks, Xero, or custom databases.
